The Kenneth Stephen Burnley Foundation (KSBF), has been envisioned to keep Dr. Burnley's spirit alive after his death to further education for disadvantaged youth.

Dr. Burnley received three higher education degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He served education in various capacities, as a teacher, assistant principal, director, assistant superintendent and superintendent.


He reached national acclaim as the recipient of the 1993 Colorado and National Superintendent of the Year Awards from the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).  In addition, he was recognized by various organizations for his leadership and humanitarian efforts.

Eileen Burnley, partnered with Dr. Burnley for over 45 years to help young people become community leaders.  Upon his death, she recognized the need to continue with his mission.

KSBF has been created to provide educational and social support for disadvantaged youths to improve collegiate and vocational graduation rates, creating leaders in your community. We welcome your
